SDG 03: Health and wellbeing

Your entry must clearly show how it delivers contributions towards:
  1. Making coastal air cleaner by reducing shipping emissions (eg cleaner marine fuels, removing emissions, chemical processes and chemical engineering developments etc)
  2. Reducing substances that pose a risk to human health and the environment (eg removing persistent organic pollutants from transformer insulating oils etc)

SDG 07: Affordable and clean energy

Your entry must clearly show how it delivers contributions towards:
  1. The development of greener marine fuels (eg reducing GHG emissions, using more sustainable fuels such as biofuels from algae, making the fuel combust more efficiently, chemical processes and chemical engineering developments etc)
  2. Improvements to the reliability of electricity supply, generation and monitoring devices.

SDG 13: Climate action

Your entry must clearly show how it delivers contributions towards:
  1. Optimising vessel propulsion to minimis GHG emissions.
  2. Improving marine engine fuel efficiency through improved fuel combustion or lubrication/protection to minimise GHG emissions.
  3. Improving efficiency of hydraulics/gearbox/lubrication of moving parts through improved lubrication/movement to minimise GHG emissions.
  4. Improving power station fuel efficiency through improved fuel combustion. or lubrication/protection to minimise GHG emissions.
  5. Improving efficiency of hydraulics/gearbox/lubrication of moving parts through improved lubrication/movement to minimise GHG emissions.

SDG 14: Life below water

Your entry must clearly show how it delivers contributions towards:
  1. Reducing ocean acidification (eg by minimising shipping emissions into atmosphere etc)
  2. Reducing marine pollution from vessels (eg prevention of leakage of fuel into the ocean during bunkering etc)

It must also be directly related to VPS activities within the marine, power, or renewables sectors. https://www.vpsveritas.com/what-we-do.html
