Whilst ISO8217 is always the recommended starting point for assessing marine fuel quality, across all its revisions, even the latest ISO8217:2024, does not provide the highest levels of protection from today’s fuels.

Therefore, we recognize you wish to protect your vessels/fleets to a higher level. We offer our Additional Protection Service (APS), which is an extended test package providing a greater level of information and asset protection with regard to fuel quality. There are four packages, one for residual fuels, one for distillate fuels, a third offering of a customised package to cover low-sulphur blended fuels and finally our APS-BIO packages, providing additional insights into biofuels quality.
